A note on these terms. They describe how this website and this service work. They are not legal advice, and they do not create any lawyer–client relationship between you and Injury Case Claim — we are not a law firm. If anything here is unclear, email help@injurycaseclaim.com and ask before you use the site.

Who we are

Injury Case Claims LLC (“Injury Case Claim”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and a free service that connects injured people with law firms. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice and we do not represent you.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do about it. Questions go to help@injurycaseclaim.com or 800-589-3204.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete a case review form we collect the information you enter, which typically includes your name, email address, telephone number, the state you are in, and details about what happened to you — the type of incident, when it occurred, the nature and severity of your injuries, whether you received medical care, time missed from work, who you believe was responsible, whether an insurer has contacted you, whether the incident was reported, whether you already have a lawyer, and anything you add in the free-text field.

Some of that is information about your health. We collect it only because it is what determines whether a law firm can help you, we use it only for that purpose, and we keep it to what you choose to tell us. Please do not send medical records, images or detailed clinical history through this website. Your lawyer will ask for those directly once you are represented.

If you contact us by the contact form, email or telephone, we keep that correspondence and any information in it.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view and when, and campaign parameters in the link you arrived by (for example utm_source or a click identifier). Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see cookies below.

Information from others

We may receive information about you from advertising partners and lead sources where you submitted an enquiry through one of their pages, and from law firms in our network confirming the status of a referral.

How we use it

We use what you give us to:

  • review your enquiry and decide whether a law firm in our network may be able to help;
  • contact you about it, by telephone, text message and email — see contact consent;
  • introduce you to a law firm licensed in your state that handles your type of claim;
  • respond to questions and complaints;
  • run, secure and improve this website, and measure which campaigns bring people here;
  • keep records we are required to keep, and establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information to make any decision about you that produces a legal effect without human involvement, and we do not use it for automated profiling.

Who we share it with

The law firm we match you with

This is the main purpose of the service. Where your enquiry appears to be one a firm in our network can help with, we pass the information you gave us to that firm so they can assess it and contact you. If you tell us you do not want it passed on, we will not pass it on.

We do not sell your information to a panel of buyers, and we do not auction enquiries. If a firm declines your case, we may introduce you to one other suitable firm rather than starting again, and we will tell you if we do.

Service providers

We use third parties to host this website, deliver email and text messages, run our customer records, and measure advertising and site performance. They act on our instructions and may only use the information to provide those services to us.

Advertising and analytics

We use analytics and advertising technologies that may set cookies or similar identifiers and share limited information — typically an identifier, the pages you viewed and whether you submitted a form — with those providers. Depending on your state, some of this may count as “sharing” or “selling” personal information for targeted advertising purposes, and you can opt out. See the CCPA notice.

Legal and business reasons

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, a court order or a regulator; to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; to protect the rights or safety of any person; and to a purchaser or successor if our business is transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: to make the site work (including remembering campaign parameters within a visit), to understand how the site is used, and to measure advertising.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking them will not stop you using the case review form. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one, and we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing for targeted advertising in the states where that applies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed for the purpose it was given, and afterwards for as long as we need it to meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations or to defend a claim. In practice that generally means several years rather than months, because claims and complaints can arise long after an enquiry.

Where we no longer need information we delete it or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see your rights.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising, and to opt out of marketing contact. You have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of them.

To make a request, email help@injurycaseclaim.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, or call 800-589-3204. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming details of the enquiry you submitted, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

California residents: see the separate CCPA notice for the categories we collect and disclose, and for the specific rights that apply.

Children

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website. Where a claim concerns a child, we expect a parent or guardian to submit the enquiry and to provide only what is necessary. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can see enquiry information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not send us sensitive documents by unencrypted email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and material changes will be signposted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
